Sony that brought exploding batteries for Sony Viao laptops says that third-party DualShock 3 controllers may explode. Counterfeit controllers may also burst into flame and as expected Sony is suggesting that you buy genuine PlayStation®3 DualShock 3 controllers to your nearest retailer.
