EA is crap. Money vampires. This online pass code was created by EA who didn’t want people buying used copies of the game. The person buying the used copy wouldn’t be able to play online.
What EA doesn’t know is that hackers can figure out the algorithms and generate codes, which may be some of the codes for your new game. That’s why your getting the message code already used.
The next dumb thing is that if your brother wants to play FIFA online with his PS3 account, he can’t because you already used the online code on your account. If EA wants you to pay to play online they should advertise that on their games so we wouldn’t buy them.
Solution – Stop buying EA games until they start respecting consumer rights.

Solved… As many said here.. You need to use the code with a PSN from the same region. After that any user on the PS3 can acces the on-line features.

If case you change your PS3, the activation is related to the PSN account you used to unblock the on-line pass.

Yes same thing happened to me – I bought the game from Hong Kong (Region 3) whilst im in Region 2 (Australia) – I set up a region 3 PSN account after which i was able to activate the code successfully and was told by their EA Support people that once i redeemed the code ok i could delete the new PSN account i’d created & it would continue to work – well after deleting it i found it started asking me again for the code & reentering it with my old psn account (diff region) it continually gives the original error message ” code is already in use or invalid- please check your entries” — THis is fucking ridiculous EA needs to clean up their act & fix this asap !

Or give people FULL REFUNDS & AN APOLOGY TOO!!

uh….it might. Your warranties wont apply after you have jailbroken your ipod, but the disadvantages are largely outweighed by the advantages…
