Zynga :Farmville Maker just recently has hired Owen Van Natta the former MySpace CEO and Facebook Chief Revenue Officer. Van Natta will be having the position as a EVP Business and he will be reporting reporting to Mark Pincus the CEO of Zynga. Last February Owen Van Natta was in the news this is when he stepped down MySpace as a CEO , currently Owen has been an advisor to Zynga.
Owen Van Natta will be joining also with Zynga’s board of directors and joining Reid Hoffman, Bing Gordon, Brad Feld and Pincus.
Addition to Owen’s recent hiring , Google also rumored that they invested in Zynga to bring their popular games like Farmville in Google Me. This will be Google’s new approach on competing with Facebook.
So that means all the problems with Farmville (new ones every day and customer service notoriously well-known for non-reply and unresolve after anything up to 5 months) going to be fixed now????? Or is he hired only to continued ignoring the millions+ of customers and making much more company money.
