New Avatar Series from Nickelodeon – The Legend of Korra – After the successful Avatar : The Last Air Bender , Nickelodeon has come up for a new show that will expand the original Avatar Universe. Nickelodeon announced that they will be giving a shot for a new animated series entitled The Legend of Korra.
According to Nickelodeon president, Brown Johnson, the Legend of Korra series will make the Avatar Mithology expanded and will discover more possibilities in the first Avatar universe. Legend of Korra is planned and set to dwell seventy years after the original Last Airbender season.
This will be awesome actually and since lots of kids now are hoping to see Aang but too bad this will be a new show after all.
Korra is a girl. Aang and katara had a son named Tenzin and will be teaching her a few elements. This is 70 years in the future. The reason why she’s a water avatar is because thats how the order goes. Aang is dead because Korra is the new avatar.

how can they not have aang since he is the face of avatar i dont think this will be good because i cant see it having the chemistry that the last air bender had between the charecters… stupid idea

..BUT…Maybe the new gaang (sorry im used to saying it like that lol) meets up with kataras,zukos & aangs children?? There will probably be a funny guy like sokka, to!

I don’t get people saying they won’t watch it because it doesn’t have Aang… it’s a new series by the same great writers. So it will have new characters and a different plot. If it copies the old one i.e. same personalities and the fire nation being the bad guys there would no point to making a new old. I’m sure everyone will fall in love with these characters and the plot will be amazing.
