President Obama Dismayed over a No Cake Birthday : Washington – US President Barack Obama is somehow dismayed after he celebrated his 49th birthday without the cake.
As reported the US President Barrack Obama celebrated his nativity day last night and was set to receive a cake from the union leaders in his appearance at the AFL-CIO labour federation meeting in Washington.
But somehow the Secret Service barred the said birthday cake for security reasons.
“I was disappointed there wasn’t a cake. They’re probably eating it right now”, according to US Pres. Obama referring to the cake he is supposed to receive from the union leaders and the men from the Secret Service who took it for security reasons.
It was learned that Pres. Obama celebrated his birthday all by himself. But later on he received a call from the First Lady, Michelle Obama and his youngest daughter Sasha whom are currently in Spain, and by noon he also received a call from his eldest daughter Malia who is attending a summer camp.
According to White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, the greetings the president received from his children and wife was the highlight of Pres. Obama’s 49th birthday.
